Childhood and Family
The group focuses on children, families and child welfare in its research and development work. It produces tools that help understand developments affecting children's living conditions, as well as tools that facilitate decision-making in public policy and the development of the work of professionals working with children. The group also develops autobiographical working methods and art-based approaches.
The key areas of research and development are:
- Childhood as a social phenomenon and the status of the child population in society
- Reconciliation of work and family life
- Family policy
- Research on child welfare
- Development of working methods in child welfare
- Development of reform school activities
- Stories and art as a source of knowledge and development
- Child inclusion
