Finohta is the Finnish Office for Health Technology Assessment operating at the National Research and Development Centre for Welfare and Health (STAKES).
Finohta promotes the use of proper, evidence-based health technology in order to enhance the effectiveness and impact of health care.
Research
We support research projects and coordinate assessment in Finland.
Information
We disseminate information on international assessments to health-care decision makers and professionals and to the general public.
Education
We provide training in health technology assessment and evidence-based health care.
Collaboration
We collaborate with a number of national and international organisations.
Cochrane
The Finnish Branch of the Nordic Cochrane Centre is located in Finohta.
